Ed’s journey began in Costa Rica, where at 14 his talent was already undeniable. While still in high school, he was commissioned by his art teacher to create a mural for a commercial business — a work that would endure for years. That early recognition foreshadowed a life dedicated to merging vision with craftsmanship.
Arriving in New York in the early 1980s, Ed brought with him a deep understanding of color, form, and texture. By his mid-twenties, he had developed the first line of Tadelakt Veneziano. At just 27, his artistry graced the front cover of HG House and Garden American Dream Houses magazine, showcasing a Hamptons mansion transformed by his innovative finishes.

With the support of his wife of more than thirty years, Karen Quiros, Ed continues to shape spaces with elegance and enduring quality. Together, they run operations from the Hamptons to Costa Rica, blending family, artistry, and entrepreneurship into a singular vision.
